The TutorNorth workflow.

One routine that takes you from "I should use AI" to a weekly system that saves hours, without handing students anything unchecked.

Set up once (15 minutes)

  1. Account. Any Claude plan works, including Free. In Settings, Capabilities, turn on Code execution and file creation.
  2. Skills. In Claude, go to Customize, Skills, then +, Create skill, Upload a skill, and upload each TutorNorth skill file. No skills yet? Use the prompts in the free guide.
  3. Project. Create a project called My tutoring and paste your tutor profile into its instructions.
  4. Students. Add one student file per student, first names or initials only.

Before each lesson (10 to 20 minutes)

Why it works: context once, reused forever. Checked by default. And five-minute admin, because the notes you already write become the parent update and the month-end report.
